The Trump, Minerva, and 18 hrs....

First shot is our view at the Trump, Second is our view at the job site!

This is the tent "before", Mom hanging chandeliers, and making napkin rings...

"Minerva"!, along with some florals....

The Final Product!

Our Miami trip has already come and gone - that's so hard to believe!! We had a few long days, but our hard work paid off. The clients were happy, and we loved the final product. We were fortunate enough to stay at the Trump International Hotel while we were there - all I can say is beautiful! And our room was upgraded to a corner room on the 28th floor, with ocean and bay views. But the best part? Our own private balcony with a jacuzzi hot tub! Let's just say the warm water was great at the end of each day! Too bad we weren't there that much! Day One included a trip to the florist, making 24 florals for the interior of the home, trips to gather more candles and accessories, creating an arch made of beautiful florals that led to the pool, and decorating our "lamp lady" friend we named Minerva (the homeowners bought a lifesize "lady" lamp with the shade as her head. They decorate her all the time, so we dolled her up in the bride and groom's college attire). Day Two was an 18 hr work day. We were beat by the end! Mom and April spent a lot of time putting up the fabrications in the tent while Marisa and I put together 80 napkins with napkin rings (made of beautiful satin ribbon and a rose head). We worked hard putting together the table settings, centerpieces, hanging chandeliers in the tent, and overall putting all the finishing decor touches on the exterior of the home. Guests arrived that evening and ate, drank, and chatted. The bride and groom seemed incredibly happy and excited. After the guests chowed down on Tenderloin, Shrimp Alfredo, and Grilled Vegetables (just to name a few!), they hopped the shuttle back to the hotel so to wake early for the wedding ceremony the next morning. Our job continued until about 3 am - helping bus the tables, taking down all the decor, packing up boxes to ship back to Dallas, etc. We then drowsily headed back to the Trump and enjoyed sleeping in the following morning. We headed out of Miami feeling great about the job done. And the best part? We had such a blast doing it. We are truly so thankful for our wonderful clients that make our job possible. Here are the photos from our journey....

Blessisngs,
LMH
