Continuing on the updates...

For the past 5 months we've been working closely with our contractor and seamstress on this large renovation for one of our biggest clients. This job included a heavy remodel in the kitchen, along with new draperies, carpet, and reupholstery throughout the bottom level of the home. Enjoy looking!

We had custom made slip covers added to the dining room chairs. Love!

Wall sconces from My Favorite Room....we chose this cool woven wallpaper for this powder bath. Our faux finisher painted this stencil on the walls.

Custom made AMAZING chandelier. This was the biggest thing I've ever seen. Can you imagine being the one to install it?!

Here are the drapes our seamstress/installer put in. You can see from the bottom picture how high these ceilings are. I'm taking this photo from the second floor balcony of the home.

I was going through some photos from the past few months (wow, do I have a lot to catch you up on!) and forgot about these amazing draperies we did this summer. I meant to blog these pics but forgot. Hopefully my camera will do them justice! This room is a library right off the entry. This family also uses it as their piano room. We not only did the new draperies, but added a new desk and accessories to the bookshelves. Enjoy looking!

Here come the updates....

Each guest brought a recipe for the couple to go in this recipe box. I chalk painted this box and then added the tag and seam binding to it.

An album was given to the happy couple!

My sister-in-law (www.dailydoseofsweet.com) made these precious and yummy sugar cookies with the bride and groom's initials as party favors.

I'm updating the blog today! You're about to be bogged down with a lot of posts!! This post shows you pictures of a recent bridal shower we did for one of our clients. The bride's colors were gray/pewter, purple and cream. We had fun adding the delicate details of ribbon, tags and antique brooches throughout. Happy Wedding, Erica and Seth!

Kappa Tablescapes

We're honored to be a part of Kappa Tablescapes this year! If you don't know about this event, check out kappadallas.org. Tablescapes is "a unique two-day event benefiting Dallas community non-profit organizations, researched and selected by the Kappa Kappa Gamma Dallas Alumnae Association Foundation, Inc." Both KBM Designs and My Favorite Room will have a table this year. I'll make sure to get lots of photos to share with you. We're excited to be a part of this!

Getting ready for Home Tour...

One of our longtime, dear clients lives in Lake Highlands. She was asked to be on the Home Tour this Christmas. We've been working with her the past several months on updating areas in her home. I've been bad about taking photos along the way, but here are a few from last week. We worked on her upstairs landing and her high school son's room. The photos on the front porch were done earlier this summer. Enjoy looking, and look for more fun photos on this house as we get closer to Christmas!
