Welcome to Miami!

We are headed to Miami this week for a special events job. One of our long term clients asked us to plan his son's Rehearsal Dinner....at their second home in Miami! We've been a handful of times in the past, and the home is absolutely breathtaking. We haven't been in about 2 years, so we're very excited to get back! The trip will be very busy and we'll be on the go, but it's so worth it. Look back in a couple days...I'll post pics of our adventure!

A Seat in the Sunroom

We're helping another client get her home ready for the Lakewood Home Tour. She has this great little sunroom off the living room that we worked on last week. She loves to paint, so she's starting to use this room as a studio. We used a lot of neutrals in this room, including a darling little bench with nailheads that our upholsterer just finished (we have another one in the store!). We also used an antique daybed piled with fun pillows for a nice lounger.

SO CUTE!

If you've ever been around us for even just a short period, you'll hear one of us say "so cute" in regards to anything we see that is aesthetically pleasing! And Emily's room we did a couple weeks ago is absolutely SO CUTE! We met this sweet family earlier this summer, and they were an absolute joy to work with. Emily is a teenager and wanted her room to be a little more grown up, so her parents hired us to do the work. We had so much fun!!!

Emily wanted black, white, hot pink and green throughout the room. We used solid fabrics, and several prints as well. The drapes turned out great! A lot of fabulous detail that went into this design. It all came together so smoothly.

Treats and Treasures

The first day of our sale was MADNESS! If you were here, you know! We had a line of people waiting to get in before we opened the doors. Thank you to all who came, shopped and supported. We appreciate you!

It's Almost Here!

The sale is quickly approaching! We've had several customers already come and "scout" out what they want. I spent some time marking things down today - a lot of smaller items are only $1!!! Our neighbor/friend/photographer, Catherine Clay (www.catherineclayphotography.com) came over and shot some great photos of the store. Here they are! Look forward to seeing you Thursday and Friday!

On the catch up...

My apologies that I haven't been keeping up lately! We've been crazy at the shop, working on various design projects, getting ready for our BIG SALE, and preparing for a job we will be doing in Miami, FL in October. I hope to get some pictures up this week...
